During the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds World Championship 2026, Sega announced Season Pass Two will feature crossover characters and elements from Godzilla, Evangelion, Sanrio Puroland, Segaland, FFVII remake, and Persona 3, 4, and 5. That paid pass costs $29.99, also includes Sega Controllers Decals, and launches on November 3, 2026 with Godzilla. The standard edition is now $39.99, the Digital Deluxe one is $59.99, and a Year Two Digital Deluxe Edition with the game and second season pass is $59.99. The company is also developing Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Arcade DX.
There’s an initial roadmap that goes over the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds crossovers with Godzilla, Evangelion, Sanrio Puroland, Segaland, FFVII remake, and Persona 3, 4, and 5 and explains when we can expect to see them. Godzilla is first on November 3, 2026, and that adds the course Godzilla Escape and machines Godzilla Cruiser, King Ghidorah Coupe, and Mothra Surf. Music and sound effects will show up too. Bayonetta will appear as a free character that day too, and a Sonic McLaren Racing update will also show up that month at no cost.
After that, the Evangelion crossover comes after that and before March 2027. That adds Asuka Shikinami Langley and Rei Ayanami as playable characters and the Eva-00, Eva-01, and Eva-02 machines. The course for that pack will be Tokyo-3 and feature Sixth and Eighth Angel attacks. Again, there will be songs. Aigis from Persona 3 is expected as a free character in early 2027 as well.
The two add-ons arriving between April 2027 and August 2027 are Sanrio Puroland and Segaland. Hello Kitty and Kuromi will be playable with their Apple Kart and Charming Cruiser machines, and there’ll be the Virtual Sanrio Puroland course. Meanwhile, the Segaland course will be accompanied by machines that look like the After Burner, Outrun, and Super Megalo arcade cabinets.
Finally, the FFVII remake series and Persona 3 Reload/Persona 4 Revival/Persona 5 Royal add-ons show up between September and December 2027. There are no details about what the characters, courses, and machines for those packs will look like.
Here’s an image of the full roadmap. While three free updates are shown, five remain a mystery.
