Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II Has Sonic And Tails Team Up For Tag Actions

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II brings Sonic’s sidekick Tails into the game and the two fuzzy heroes have new tag actions. After doing a high-five, Tails can pick Sonic up and fly him around using Flight Combination. Rolling Combination has Sonic and Tails roll up into speedy spinning ball and Submarine Combination where Tails uses his tails as a propeller.

Underwater areas are seen in Sylvania Castle Zone. Sega also revealed White Park Zone, which is a snow covered theme park. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II is slated for release this spring as a digital download for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is also in development for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.

The console versions will have online cooperative play so you can race through the game’s levels with a buddy.
