The limited edition of Soul Hackers 2 will feature a new original demon as DLC. Atlus named it Aiho-kun in the Japanese version. The company made the demon by combining the designs of Jack Frost and the new protagonist Ringo.
Atlus provided more details about Aiho-kun via a new tweet on the Japanese official account for Soul Hackers 2. The DLC code included inside the 25th Anniversary Edition will let players unlock Fusions that result in Aiho-kun. The company also teased that this particular demon will have an exclusive skill.
Those who purchase the 25th Anniversary Edition will be able to own Aiho-kun both in the game and in real life. The package will include a figure of the special demon. It will also come with a 100-page book and an album containing arranged music from the Soul Hackers series. A DLC costume for Ringo modeled after Mary, the maid who appeared in the first Soul Hackers, will complete the set.
Atlus also revealed a Persona 5Â DLC set for Soul Hackers 2. While Aiho-kun will only appear in the 25th Anniversary Edition, anyone will be able to get Persona 5-inspired costumes, accessories, and the “Keeper of Lust” BGM by simply pre-ordering the game.
Soul Hackers 2 will release worldwide for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 26, 2022. The limited 25th Anniversary Edition will be available exclusively for the PS4 and PS5 in Japan.
