Splatoon Sells Over 1 Million Worldwide

Worldwide sales of Splatoon have crossed 1 million units, Nintendo announced today. The colourful multiplayer shooter was released on May 28th in Japan, with a North American and European release following on May 29th.

 

Update: Nintendo say the game has sold 476,000 units sold in the Americas, over 368,000 in Japan, and more than 230,000 sold in Europe. That includes both retail and download sales.
