Last year, Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest X’s Nintendo NX development was “under consideration,” but it was confirmed that it is in fact in development for Nintendo’s upcoming console in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine.

While we haven’t heard much about the PlayStation 4 version of Dragon Quest X, producer Yosuke Saito mentioned that it will release in Japan with good timing, and well ahead of Dragon Quest XI.

Dragon Quest X is currently available for Wii, Wii U, PC, Android, iOS, and Nintendo 3DS.
