Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s official soundtrack has begun shipping, and Square Enix say they’ve hidden “something” within the OST.

Over on the Final Fantasy XIV development blog, Bayohne, a member of the game’s community team, teases: “From what I’m hearing…It seems that the soundtrack includes something else, something hidden away inside the data. We’ve gotten word that it’s locked and no one has figured out how to unlock it, but perhaps…perhaps using the name of the one from the ‘bridge’ would be the key to opening it? Hmm…I wonder!”

Perhaps someone that has more experience with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn can make more sense of the cryptic hint. It shouldn’t be long before we find out just what this hidden surprise is.

Additionally, initial copies of the Realm Reborn soundtrack also come with a bonus code for a new minion—”Wind-up Bahamut,” pictured above.
