Square Enix Montreal are working on a Hitman game for smartphones and tablets, titled Hitman GO. This is a turn-based strategy game that will have you navigating a diorama piece of Agent 47 around a grid to avoid enemies and take out your target or infiltrate certain locations.

“You really have to think about each move and all the Hitman tools of the trade you would expect are included; disguises, distractions, sniper rifles and even 47’s iconic Silverballers,” Square Enix Montreal say, in describing the game.

Hitman GO is “almost ready for launch” and will be released in the weeks to come.

Meanwhile, IO Interactive are working on the next Hitman game, which is in development for PCs and next-generation consoles. You can read more about that here.
