Why Is There A Steam Logo On The Final Fantasy XIII Portal Page?

Square Enix Japan just launched a portal page for the Final Fantasy XIII series in Japan. The page higlights Square Enix’s new Dive In streaming service, which will let you stream all three games to your smartphone.

Interestingly, the page also has a logo for Steam, Valve’s digital PC game store, among the platforms the game is available on. As you can see in the image above, the Dive In logo is included, too.

Square Enix have not officially announced a PC release for Final Fantasy XIII yet, but they have been re-releasing or bringing previous Final Fantasy games over to PC, including Final Fantasy III (the DS remake), Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII.

Square Enix have also expressed their intent on multiple occasions to bring Final Fantasy XV to PC, once the game is released.
