During a sizzle reel in the September 2026 Nintendo Direct, Shift Up shared a Switch 2 Stellar Blade release date and Bayonetta DLCcostume confirmation. The game will be out on the system on November 5, 2026. It will also feature the Bayonetta Nano Suit Collaboration add-on. This news comes ahead of its playable appearance at the 2026 Tokyo Game Show.
The teaser for Stellar Blade was quite short, so we didn’t get to see too much Switch 2 footage during the Direct. This included the new Bayonetta costume reference. We only got to briefly see Eve stand up from a sitting position while wearing the Nano Suit. However, that image did confirm the outfit is based on the heroine’s original look. So it will include the full one-piece suit, glasses, and hairstyle.
As a reminder, since this is a Complete Edition, that Bayonetta crossover isn’t the only one we’ll see in Stellar Blade. A number of other games also pop up both in terms of costumes and other kinds of content. If you pick it up, you’ll also see outfits based on the NieR: Automata series. The Goddess of Victory: NIKKE expansion is even more extensive, considering it features characters and new Eve Nano Suit looks inspired by the other Shift Up game.
The Stellar Blade Complete Edition Switch 2 release date is November 5, 2026 and includes Bayonetta costume DLC. The game is also on the PS5 and PC. It’s unknown as of time of writing if the add-on will appear on every platform.
