Months after its arcade release, Street Fighter Alpha 2 was ported to the SNES, alongside the Sega Saturn and PS1. This version has now found its way onto Virtual Console for 800 Wii points ($8).

Fair warning: The SNES version is missing characters like Shin Akuma and the EX versions of various fighters, and also apparently had some long loading times in between fights. An arcade rom of Shinobi is also online for 800 Wii Points.

The classics don’t stop there. Ubisoft are bringing the original Rayman over to the DSi’s download service for 800 DSi points ($8) today on the U.S. store. The DSi version features a couple improvements that weren’t in the original game, such as touchscreen map selection and a timed mode to unlock bonuses. There’s also support for the DSi cameras but no specifics were mentioned.

New games? Nintendo has a ton of those this week. On DSiWare you have: myNotebook Red, Army Defender, Pop Island, and Ball Fighter. My Dolphin, Magnetis, Stop Stress: A Day of Fury, and Flowerworks are on WiiWare.
