Capcom have outlined the first Street Fighter V beta, which will kick off on July 23rd for PlayStation 4 users. The beta will begin at 6:00 pm PST and will last five days.

The primary purpose of the beta, Capcom say, is to test Street Fighter V’s online code. Data received from the test will help improve the net code in the final game. All six characters that have been revealed so far will be playable, although only four will be available initially. (Cammy and Birdie will be added on Saturday, July 25th.)
