Shiva will be the final Streets of Rage 4 Mr. X Nightmare playable DLC character. The character appeared as a boss during the main storyline, like the other two playable characters in this add-on. To go along with the announcement, Dotemu also shared footage of how Shiva will look.
Streets of Rage 4 will mark the second time Shiva has been playable in an entry. He was a secret character in Streets of Rage 3. Also, he was technically already playable here. You could unlock the older version of him to use in-game.
Here’s the new Streets of Rage 4 trailer. As Shiva points out, “I don’t need weapons. I am a weapon.” As a character, he’ll use his martial arts attacks to defeat opponents. You can see some of his different sorts of punches and kicks in action.
In addition to new challenges, Mr. X Nightmare will give people access to three characters. Estel was confirmed first. Then, Max Thunder showed up.
Streets of Rage 4 is available for the Streets of Rage 4 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Streets of Rage 4 Mr. X Nightmare DLC will appear in 2021 and add Estel, Max Thunder, and Shiva.
