Konami supported the PlaySation Store with downloadable versions of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in North America and Metal Gear Solid in Japan. In the future they might be releasing one of their rarer games, Suikoden, as a digital download in North America. The ESRB re-rated Suikoden as a PlayStation 3 / PSP title, which indicates the PsOne game is a candidate digital distribution. Second hand prices for Suikoden are sky high on eBay, maybe not as much as Suikoden II, but some time in the future gamers will get to search for the original 108 Stars of Destiny.
However the rating doesn’t indicate we’re going to see Suikoden anytime soon. Castlevania Chronicles was rated last year and it still hasn’t percolated as a digital download in any region.
