HoYoVerse’s 4.5 Honkai: Star Rail drip marketing confirmed Summer Planarcadia alts for Aventurine and Robin called Adventurine • Waveflair and Robin • Summeretto. In addition to new art for both being shared, we also learned about the new paths and elements for the two five-stars. Both should appear around August or September 2026.
The two Summer versions of the Honkai: Star Rail characters mean the Waveflair Aventurine and Summeretto Robin alts will follow two of the new paths added in 3.0 and 4.0. He’ll be an Elation character who deals Quantum damage. The previous version of him is a Preservation character tied to the Imaginary element. Meanwhile, this new take on Robin will walk the Remembrance path and deal Wind damage when she attacks. Her previous version was a Harmony Physical heroine.

We’ll see the 4.4 Honkai: Star Rail update on July 15, 2026. That will feature a new alt for Himeko and the next part of the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works crossover. That will add Rin Tohsaka and the Servant Gilgamesh, with the latter being one of the two possible free characters in that patch.
