What a coincidence; just last week, we reported that longtime Hudson spokesperson, Takahashi Meijin (AKA Master Higgins), would be leaving the company, and this week, we see a game starring him on the U.S. Wii Virtual Console.

Super Adventure Island, which was released on Virtual Console today, is the third game in Hudson’s Adventure Island series.

Master Higgins and his significant other are stargazing when a sorcerer named Dark Cloak turns up and turns Jeanie to stone. After that, it’s up to you to rescue her. The SNES game will set you back 800 Wii Points ($8), and was released on the European Virtual Console earlier this month.
