Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz for the PlayStation Vita has a release date. Today, Sega announced that the game will be released this October in North America.

 

Sega say the game has over 100 stages and that you can use the Vita camera to photograph real-world objects for creating your own stages with. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz also has online multiplayer with leaderboards. It will be released on October 23rd, 2012 in North America.

 

The Japanese version of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz features an “adult” stage with gravure idol, Yukie Kawamura. First-print copies of the game in Japan come with a download code for her special stage. There’s been no word from Sega on the stage being included in the North American version. It should be pointed out, though, that the ESRB have rated the game “E” (Everyone).
