Capcom has a big update planned for Super Street Fighter IV. EventHubs reports during Capcom’s Street Fighter panel at EVO 2013, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will add five new characters.
Elena, Hugo, Poison, and Rolento come from Street Fighter X Tekken. The fifth character is brand new to Street Fighter, but could come from another Capcom game.
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 will be sold as a DLC that’s compatible with Super Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. The upgrade will cost $15 and the full Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 game will be a $40 download.
If you get the complete digital release you will get all of the DLC costumes for free and Udon is working on making new costumes that will be a pre-order bonus. Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 is slated for release in early 2014.
