Pokemon Masters will be adding Sylveon and Valerie as a Sync Pair with the next story update. Eeveelutions fans, rejoice! The Japanese Twitter account has confirmed that Valerie will be accompanied by the much loved eeveelution. While the official app had teased Valerie’s arrival, there had been no indication of which Pokemon would join her until this announcement. This eclectic fashion designer and Fairy-Type gym leader will make her debut on February 25, 2020 with the latest story update. The update will also include new story Chapter 22 through Chapter 24.

Pokemon Masters will also be having its first re-run event next month. Legendary Event: Lurking Shadows will return on March 6, 2020. The original event ran from December 4 to December 18, 2019 and allowed players to recruit Team Rocket Leader Giovanni and the Legendary Mewtwo. There has been no mention if the amount of vouchers needed to recruit the Sync Pair has been decreased. However, changes will be made to the custom items required to strengthen Giovanni and Mewtwo.
While Giovanni and Mewtwo may have been the first Legendary Sync Pair to appear in Masters, they certainly were not the last. Pokemon Masters has since added Solgaleo and Rayquaza to the line up of legendaries.
Pokemon Masters is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. As a reminder, you can still claim the Professor Oak and Mew Sync Pair until March 15, 2020.
