Tales of Arise Fan-Requested Official Character Art Shared

Bandai Namco released an interview with the developers of Tales of Arise in celebration of its first anniversary, featuring brand new art of characters requested by fans, created by the official designers of the game. In celebration of the first anniversary of the release of Tales of Arise, Yusuke Tomizawa, producer of Tales of Arise, and Keita Iizuka, producer of Scarlet Nexus, gathered in September 2022. They conducted interviews with artists regarding a series of original artworks created in response to to fan requests, the details involving the creation of each piece, along with messages from each artist.

Six pieces of art were created according to fan requests for the occasion, three of them featuring characters from Tales of Arise, and the other three featuring characters and monsters from Scarlet Nexus.

The first piece of artwork depicts Tales of Arise main characters Alphen and Shionne eating sweets. Minoru Iwamoto, art director and main character designer for the game, created it.

The second artwork shows Zephyr holding Law as a child. Miyuki Kobayashi designed this piece. She was in charge of sub-character design for Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria. Kobayashi also designed Vicious from Tales of Crestoria.

The third piece includes Kisara and Rinwell helping Dohalim change into formal attire. Toru Kawaguchi created it. He worked as a monster designer and graphic lead for Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and as monster model artist for Tales of Xillia.

Tales of Arise is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
