Tales of Graces will have downloadable content that goes beyond items and Tales of Vesperia costumes.
In a Creator’s Voice interview, Shinichiro Okamoto, Product Manger, explains they also made downloadable challenge battles. These are similar to the arena battles in previous Tales games where you fight groups of powerful enemies and shoot for a high rank. Unlike the items and titles, Namco Bandai will distribute challenge battles over Nintendo Wi-Fi for free.
Okamoto thinks adding challenge battles will make Tales of Graces enjoyable for a long time, that is longer than the expected 40-45 hours of gameplay to get though the story.
