Namco Bandai announced the release date for Tales of the Abyss, which is October 10. Like other games in the Tales series the combat system is a free range fighting system. The system has been tweaked to make the “flexible motion battle system” where you can freely run around the battlefield instead of being caught in 2D line. While it’s great to finally get a release date on Tales of the Abyss, it comes out around the same time as other mega RPGs including the rebirth of the .hack://G.U. series.
