Tales of Zestiria on Steam probably has the best pre-order incentive of all the platforms it’s on. If enough people pre-order the Steam version, Bandai Namco have pledged to make the PC port of Tales of Symphonia available for free to all those that pre-ordered Zestiria.

Beyond the basic pre-order bonus (a set of classic Tales weapons), the pre-order program for Tales of Zestiria is broken into three tiers. The first tier offers four Tales classic male costumes as rewards, while the second tier offers both male and female costumes as rewards. The third tier offers all of the above and Symphonia.

At present, everything up to Tier 2 has been unlocked, which means that anyone that pre-orders Tales of Zestiria off Steam will get the classic weapons and male + female costumes. For the Tales of Symphonia reward to be unlocked, there’s still a ways to go—the campaign is sitting at 3% as far as pre-orders that count toward Tier 3 go.

Tales of Zestiria will be released on October 20th on Steam. The game will also be released this October for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
