Circle Entertainment are publishing Adventure Bar Story, an RPG where you play as the owner of a tavern, for the Nintendo 3DS in the West.

Adventure Bar Story was originally created for smartphones in 2006 by Japanese developer RideOn Japan. The game was then translated and released in English in 2012, and last year, RideOn decided to port the game to the Nintendo 3DS as well. This version of the game is now being released in the West English via the Nintendo eShop.

In Adventure Bar Story, your tavern is under threat by Gustav, a ruthless businessman that wants to buy it. The only way to avoid being bought out is to turn your bar into a raging success, and that means fighting monsters to find exotic ingredients. The game has over 400 recipes, and the only time your party members level up is when they eat.

Two years ago, Siliconera had the opportunity to interview RideOn about Adventure Bar Story, back when the game was first announced for release in the West. You can read our interview with them here.

Circle Entertainment have not yet announced a release date for Adventure Bar Story.
