A new Tetris 99 Xenoblade Chronicles event has been revealed. A new theme is on the way, but you’ll have to wait until next month to earn it. Nintendo Switch Online subscribers who take part in the July 3-6, 2020 event will be able to play while a theme from the series and Shulk watches from the background. Also, the UI for this design looks like the Monado.
As is common with these events, earning the theme doesn’t require any money. You turn up for the Tetris 99event and earn 100 points. (The higher you place in a match, the more points you earn.) Once you hit 100, it is permanently unlocked as an option for you.

Some recent previous events unlocked themes inspired by Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Ring Fit Adventures.
Tetris 99 is free for all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers and requires an active subscription to go online and participate in these sorts of events.
