Initially announced in March 2021 in Japan, Bandai Namco confirmed it will release That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories in the west in 2021. The 3D battle RPG is now open for pre-registration on both iOS and Android devices. Upon launch, players will gain instant rewards based on the number of people who pre-registered. The prize for 300,000 registrants will be the ability to recruit Shuna in an exclusive outfit designed for ISEKAI Memories.
In ISEKAI Memories, players will be able to play through the story told in the anime series, as well as an original story made exclusively for the game. Fuse, the author of the original light novel series, acted as a supervisor for the title. Players will use the game’s nation-building system to establish their own towns and cities while interacting with familiar characters and battling monsters.
Along with the announcement, a new trailer for ISEKAI Memories was also released.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was originally published as a light novel series between 2013 and 2016. An ongoing manga series began in 2015. An anime series began in 2018, with the second season currently airing. A spin-off anime series, Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime aired between April and June 2021.
