The Adventures of Darwin evolves to a DS game

D3 Publisher localized Simple Series Vol. 99: The Genshiji, a Pikmin-like RTS with cavemen and dinosaurs, as The Adventures of Darwin last year for the PlayStation 2. In March, Vingt et un Systems is bringing the series to a more appropriate console, the Nintendo DS. Touch screen controls should quell criticism about the PS2 control scheme, but D3 Publisher hasn’t shown how (if?) Simple Series Vol. 35: The Genshiji DS will address concerns about repetition. Wireless item trading may help, but this is a budget priced entry in the Simple Series so I don’t expect much to be done. Personally, I always found the concept of controlling cavemen on a dinosaur hunt charming and strangely refreshing. Few games tackle the prehistoric age nowadays.
