The Best Weapons for Yuffie in FFVII Ever Crisis

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis features more than a handful of weapons for characters, and some can be better than others. This guide breaks down which weapons I feel are best for the intrepid Materia thief Yuffie, and what ones should be prioritized to make her a strong, supportive party member in FFVII Ever Crisis.

What are the best weapons for Yuffie in FFVII Ever Crisis?

The best weapons for Yuffie are as follows:

  • 4-Point Shuriken
  • Crystal Cross
  • Arctic Star
  • Twin Viper

Thankfully, players are given a five-star 4-Point Shuriken by default. They just need to claim the Weapon from their Gift Box. What makes this weapon so great is that it is given to you entirely for free and it is a five-star weapon, meaning you can get Yuffie off on the right foot if you are able to Overboost it.

The Crystal Cross and Arctic Star are more or less weapons that lend themselves to Yuffie’s role as a support. While Red XIII was previously the only “support” character in the game, she usurps his place as the best. This is because her weapons and their attached attacks either buff your party or debuff your enemies with some kind of Elemental Weakness. This is invaluable for in-game event missions.

The Crystal Cross and Arctic Star buff your party members, with the Crystal Cross applying increased M. ATK and regen on a party member. The Arctic Star increases a single ally’s P. ATK and heals them. It isn’t as strong as a heal from Aerith, as she’s still the best healer in the game, but when used in combination with a character that has Curaga equipped, you’ll be good to go.

The Twin Viper is a great weapon since it applies Poison to an enemy, which is a great status effect for bosses. Her other weapons apply the previously mentioned Elemental Debuffs, like Lightning, Fire, and Ice, which make them worthwhile as well. You really can’t go wrong with any weapon for Yuffie, so keep that in mind while building her and choosing what characters to slot her alongside.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available for Android devices, iOS devices, and PCs via Steam.
