This week’s Nintendo eShop release is Genius Sonority RPG, The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave. You start out by recruiting “Denpa Men” from your surroundings by using the 3DS’ augmented reality capabilities, then form a party to explore dungeons and fight evil.

The Denpa Men is directed by former Dragon Quest programmer, Manabu Yamana, who is also the president of Genius Sonority. The game costs $9.99.

Also out this week is Quarth ($2.99), which is a Konami puzzle game for the Game Boy on 3DS Virtual Console, and Hitori by Nikoli ($4.99), yet another Sudoku puzzle game for the 3DS eShop.

Meanwhile, the Wii Virtual Console gets Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers for 900 Wii Points ($9), the seventh game in the Fatal Fury series with added features like the Break Shot—a guard cancel system—and new characters Li Xiang Fei and Rick Strowd.
