FromSoftware announced the first trial of The Duskbloods Network Test closed after the developer kicked it off and shared an official instruction manual. It apologized via social media and confirmed updates regarding the beta will be on the way. As for for the manual, it is online via the official site in multiple languages.
With regards to The Duskbloods Network Test first day being closed and sessions ended, FromSoftware blamed server issues. The full statement noted, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to those who were waiting for the first The Duskbloods network test due to game server issues. We regret to inform you that today’s session is now closed. We will continue to work on improving the servers and will announce future schedules at a later date.” Part of the established goal on the official site was to check the game server load.
The two sessions planned for August 21, 2026 were expected to start at 3am PT/6am ET and 7pm PT/10pm ET. Each was intended to last about four hours. If the second and third days go as planned, the schedule for the next two days should look like this:
- August 22, 2026: 11am PT/2pm ET/8pm CET to 3pm PT/6pm ET/12am CET.
- August 23, 2026: 3am PT/6am ET/12pm CET to 7am PT/10am ET/4pm CET.
- August 23, 2026: 7pm PT/10pm ET/5am CET on August 24, 2026 to 11pm PT/2am ET on August 24, 2026/8am CET on August 24, 2026.

That means you can learn about the six playable Bloodsworn characters, how to earn Virtue and acquire a Kin partner, and other details about the different phases of a match.
The Duskbloods Network Test looks like it will continue on the Switch 2 on August 22, 2026, and the game is expected to come to the system in 2026.
