The Flying Hamster Powers Up On Bananas And Beer

Paris-based studio The Game Atelier sent an update along about their debut project, The Flying Hamster — a shoot-em-up that they hope will appeal to newcomers to the genre and to women. This first video shows Newton using bananas like the turtle shells from Mario Kart.

The Flying Hamster still doesn’t have a release date, but The Game Atelier confirmed it will be a PSP Minis game. Although the game isn’t a bullet hell shooter, TGA believe it will still provide a challenge. You can read more about it in our interview from February.
