The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II Kai and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Kai received simultaneous release date announcements. Similar to the Nintendo Switch port of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Kai, this version will be based on the PlayStation 4 release. [Thanks, Gamer!]
This means that the Switch release will come with the same quality of life features. Those of which include the High-Skip Mode. This feature allows players to double the speed of events and to speed up traversing the map and combat as well. However, there is currently no word of a Western release for the upcoming port. This version of the game was announced in October 2020, alongside a Nintendo Switch port of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Kai.
