Nintendo closed out The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct with a reveal of a special Switch 2 system and Pro Controller based on the series. Both will launch on October 29, 2026, ahead of the November 2026 debut of the Ocarina of Time remake.
Prices weren’t mentioned for any of the items during the presentation. However, there was a recent increase in costs for consoles worldwide. The price went up to $499.99 in the US and Canada on September 1, 2026.
In the case of the Switch 2 system, it features green Joy-Con 2 controllers, the Triforce patterns in gold on the back of the black console, pixel art of Zelda on the back of the right Joy-Con 2, and a black dock with gold Triforce imagery on it. The Pro Controller has a green right grip, black left one, a triforce pattern in gold on the face, and gold trigger buttons. A themed carrying case and screen protector will also be sold that features a matching gold Triforce pattern against a black background.

These aren’t the only items tied to the series and Ocarina of Time upcoming remake. Hori will make a playable Ocarina, as well as an electronic one, tied to the game. There will be Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo. A Link and Epona Lego set are in the works too.
