The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Is The Best-Selling 3DS Game In America

The Nintendo 3DS price cut seems to be having the effect Nintendo hoped for. Nintendo of America report that they sold 260,000 3DSes in September, which is 10% more than the amount they sold in August.

 

For reference, the system’s price was cut on August 12th from $250 to $170.

 

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is currently the best-selling Nintendo 3DS game in the U.S. Nintendo of America say Ocarina of Time 3D has sold over 500,000 copies to date in the U.S., making it the first 3DS game to cross that mark.

 

Ocarina of Time 3D also continues to remain in the top-20 software sales chart in Japan, having crossed 400,000 copies in sales as of last week.
