As one of the most memorable games of its generation, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been re-released a couple times in various forms. One of these re-releases was on a collector’s disc for the Gamecube, which contained an “enhanced” version of the game called Ocarina of Time: Master Quest.

Originally intended to be an expansion to Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64DD hardware, Ocarina of Time: Master Quest contains redesigned and more challenging dungeons, and other changes to the game.

In a recent interview with Conservative New Media at the Game Developers Conference last week, a Nintendo representative confirmed that Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS will include the Master Quest version of the game as well. Judging by the wording, Ocarina of Time 3D will contain both versions of the game.

While Ocarina of Time 3D doesn’t have a concrete release date, Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, stated at GDC that the game would release sometime in June.
