Electronic Arts have an Ultima RPG available on iTunes that’s an online, multiplayer action-RPG where you can team up with friends, explore the world, take on dungeons, and must eventually cure a plague named the Black Weep. Titled Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar, the game was released this past week.
Ultima Forever has you taking on missions from Lady British, daughter of Lord British, in order to save the land of Britannia. EA describe the game as the first major Ultima title in 16 years.
Like a lot of other iOS games, Ulima Forever is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can purchase rings of various keys to help you progress, and EA have been updating the game with graphical improvements and other tweaks to make the experience more pleasant.
Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar is out now on iOS devices and is headed to Android at a later date.
