Iori with the Power of Flames Will Cost $5 As King of Fighters XIII DLC

Atlus USA have shed some light on DLC plans for The King of Fighters XIII, including the price of the game’s first downloadable character, Iori with the Power of Flames. This version of Iori is from The King of Fighters ‘98, and will be released on December 7th for 400 Microsoft Points / $4.99.

Other planned DLC for The King of Fighters XIII includes system themes. Two of these will be available at launch, with the third following later. Atlus say they’ll also provide “a means to immediately unlock portions of game content,” with details coming further down the line.

While not officially announced, last month, a source revealed to us that Mr. Karate from Art of Fighting and a version of Kyo from The King of Fighters ‘99, dubbed “NESTS Kyo,” will be available as DLC characters at some point in time as well.

Accompanying the DLC news is a new combos trailer for The King of Fighters XIII, which you can watch above. The game is slated for release on November 22nd in the U.S. Rising Star Games will publish it in Europe.
