Sumioni: Demon Arts is Xseed’s first PlayStation Vita title, and this week, they revealed further details about the Acquire-developed ink platformer.
Enemies in Sumioni come in various shapes and sizes, and you deal with them by swiping your fingers across the Vita’s touch screen. One of the enemies you’ll face is the “Pagoda”. These come in different toughness varieties, with early versions brandishing swords or bows and higher-level Pagodas using cannons, saw blades and drills.
Another enemy is called the “Evil Eyeball”. This one lets out flames in every direction, and has a separate energy beam attack as well, which you’ll have to learn to dodge.
There’s also the inevitable Ogre, also referred to as the “God of Misfortune”. The Ogre is slow, but makes up for it with his massive size and ability to draw flames from beneath the ground.
Sumioni: Demon Arts is slated for release sometime in Spring.
