ForwardWorks and Sanrio will be teaming up for a fun collaboration for Toro and Puzzle: Everywhere Together starting March 19, 2020. Toro will get to meet another famous cat, Hello Kitty! [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The collaboration will combine two very popular cats: Sony mascot and Doko Demo Issho star Toro and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty. Together, they’ll be a part of Toro and Puzzle’s March and April 2020 collaboration, which will feature new in-game costumes and special puzzle stages will be created to celebrate these two cute cats.
Toro and Puzzle is a puzzle game which focuses on revitalizing the defunct town Amatsu Soramachi with the help of white cat Toro and a blue cat named Sora. It’s there that you discover a place rich with fruits and nature, including mountains and the sea. With Toro’s help as the Town Ambassador, the town can start to recover and heal day by day.
The game is easy to enjoy match-3 puzzle. You just swipe and connect three or more pieces of fruit together and “harvest” them to clear the board with limited moves. As you explore life with Toro, you’ll meet new friends, help cheer up a town, and challenge even more puzzles along the way!
Here’s a look at the upcoming collaboration!
Starting March 19, 2020, players will be able to enjoy limited collaboration costumes that Toro’s characters can wear. Some include “Toro x Kitty,” “Ricky x Pompompurin,” and “Pierre x My Melody.” Also, Toro and Puzzle fans will be able to purchase in-game furniture featuring Sanrio motifs.
In addition, a special “Silhouette Countdown Quiz” will be held on Toro and Puzzle’s official twitter and instagram accounts. Up until March 19, 2020, you can try and guess which characters will show up in the collaboration going by their silhouette. So far, My Melody, Tuxedo Sam, Pompompurin, and Cinnamoroll will be a part of the collab. Time will tell which other character will come to play with Toro and Hello Kitty.
