In Super Smash Bros., you can customize the special moves of your characters while fighting the CPU or playing against friends. For example, Mario’s Fireball can either be a regular Fireball, a Fast Fireball or a Fire Orb, each with their own traits.

This potentially gives every character in the game twelve special moves to choose from, while selecting abilities to take into battle, and last night on Miiverse, director Masahiro Sakurai highlighted two of Mega Man’s customized moves.

Sakurai wrote: “Here’s Beat! And Plant Barrier!! These are some of Mega Man’s custom special moves. You might also be able to use some signature boss-like moves from the Mega Man series, too.”
