Udon Entertainment have announced their newest book: Udon’s Art of Capcom: Complete Edition. The book collects over 80 of Udon artists’ renditions of the cast from numerous Capcom games.
Series in included are Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, Mega Man, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom, Strider and other unnamed franchises. The book will collect comic covers, toy designs, videogame sprites, game box art, tribute art and more.
Udon’s Art of Capcom: Complete Edition contains all the art from Udon’s Art of Capcom volumes 1 and 2, and adds more than 75 pages of new material. The book comes in at over 600 pages in total, and features a hard-bound cover.
The book will ship in North America this Fall, but if you’re at the San Diego Comic-Con, you’ll be able to pick up a special wrap-around jacket cover for it, illustrated by Udon artist Joe Ng, in homage to Kinu Nishimura’s Capcom Design Works covers.
