We now know the release date for the Vanillaware game Muramasa: Revenant Blades, the updated multiplatform release of Muramasa: The Demon Blade. It turns out 2027 meant February 4, 2027. It will be on the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and PC. There will also be physical versions and a limited edition for all consoles, and XSEED and Marvelous confirmed the Switch 2 version will not be a game-key card release.
This announcement coincided with a new gameplay trailer. The latest video is almost 10 minutes long. While it initially focuses on the action-RPG gameplay for base-game characters Kisuke and Momohime, we also see clips for the now-included-and-formerly-DLC cast members like Okoi and Gonbe as well. This also involved examples of the English voice acting, with the performers revealed.

As for the limited edition, it is $89.99 on the Switch and PS5 and $99.99 on the Switch 2. It gives someone the game, an art book, a soundtrack CD, and a folding screen.
