Virtual Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown DLC Includes Retro Character Models

When Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown launches, DLC that brings back the retro character models and stages will appear too. Sega revealed what people will get with its Legendary Pack. The add-on, which costs $9.99, offers a number of options to make it look more like the fighter people remember.

The goal with the Legendary Pack is to make Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown feel even more familiar. To start, you can make the game look the way you remember. There are two retro character model looks for each character. That means 38 options total. The retro stage returns. You can also change the UI back to the one you remember. Even the soundtrack can take you back. There are 180 songs, some of them classic ones. You also have 19 extra costumes, 36 spectator stamps, and hundreds of character customization items.

Here’s the Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown DLC trailer showing off the retro models. It also lets you see the retro stages, extra costumes, and some of the additional songs.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown and its DLC will debut on June 1, 2021 on the PS4. It will be a PlayStation Plus free game in June 2021. The original Virtua Fighter 5 appeared on the PS4, Xbox 360, and in arcades.
