Viz Publishing Cross Game Manga

Last week, Viz announced they had acquired the license to Kaori Yuki’s gothic shoujo series, Grand Guignol Orchestra. This week, they’re going in an entirely different direction with Cross Game, a a romantic comedy based around life and baseball, by Mitsuru Adachi.

The North American volume 1 of Cross Game will release on October 12th for $19.99 U.S. / $27.00 CAN, and will contain the first three Japanese volumes of the series. Subsequent releases published by Viz will include two Japanese volumes each at $14.99 U.S. / $19.99 CAN.

 

In case you want to give the series a trial run, Viz have episodes of the anime series streaming for free on their anime website.
