Hironobu Sakaguchi is presently in Europe, working with Nintendo of Europe to promote The Last Story. This week, he’s in London, doing interviews for the game and attending the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards. What games has he been working on, though?
Japanese blog, Games Jouhou, reports that Sakaguchi’s been working on iOS games. He’s got three of them in development, to be precise. Sakaguchi shared the news in reply to a fan over Twitter.
Note that this doesn’t mean he isn’t working on anything else, or that he won’t be working on console games in the future. Just that he’s working on iOS titles for the moment.
Sakaguchi tweeted the image above today. That’s him with Andy Jones, the animation director for Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Jones coincidentally happened to be in London at the same time on some business.
