At last, Alien Crush Returns gets released in North America for 800 Wii Points ($8). I’ve been playing around with the pinball game since August and it’s faithful follow up to the TurboGrafx-16 counterpart. Aside from adding tilt control… uh table tilting Alien Crush Returns offers extra stages as downloadable content. The good news is there isn’t a red Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection warning so these stages are probably going to be free. I still haven’t seen any extra stages on the Japanese version (maybe I should fire it up again?), but I got some other things like new physics defying pinball tricks.

Space Harrier is up this week too, but out of all the possible arcade ports we’re stuck with the Sega Master System version. You could get it now for 500 Wii Points ($5), but it might be better to wait for the TurboGrafx-16 version to come out on the Virtual Console. Finally, we have Home Sweet Home, a Sims-lite interior design game for 1,000 Wii Points ($10). Big Blue Bubble’s game balances out this week’s alien invasion.
