When visiting someone’s hometown in FFVII Rebirth, you can often visit their home, and this is true of Zack’s house too. Once the party gets to the Gongaga region, you can head on over to where he and his family used to live, and you’ll be rewarded with a story segment if you do!
Where do I find Zack’s House in FFVII Rebirth?

Once you get to the Gongaga region in Chapter 9 of FFVII Rebirth, you’ll also be able to head to the village proper. Once you do and go through a bit of the story after meeting a certain someone there, the party will split up. (This is a fairly normal occurrence by the point, and be sure to check in with your other allies for relationship-boosting questions too!)
The important person and moment here involves Aerith. Head to the location I marked on the map below. That’s where you’ll find Zack’s family’s house in Gongaga in FFVII Rebirth. You can’t miss it, because once you get within viewing distance, you’ll see a brief segment of Aerith speaking to someone outside it, then walking inside. Once you do, it will get labeled with an icon and the main scenario quest name “Aerith’s Acquaintances.”
Walk inside the house too, and you’ll see a really insightful scene. After it is done, Cloud will walk outside with Aerith. The two will then talk with Tifa, who will walk up and join them. You’ll be able to respond to some conversation here, so be careful with choices if you want Aerith to like you!
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available on the PS5, with the exclusivity arrangement ending on May 29, 2024.
