Xbox 360 Sales Beat All Other Platforms In July

    The new Xbox 360 “Slim” model continued to make its presence felt in the month of July, a month after its release, as it propelled sales of the system into first place, surpassing even the Nintendo DS, for the first time since September 2007 (during the launch of Halo 3).

    Both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 saw a significant rise from their July 2009 sales, while the Xbox Live 1600 point card remained the best-selling accessory item for the fifth month in a row.
