Xbox Live Gold October Lineup Includes Resident Evil Code: Veronica X

Xbox revealed its Games with Gold lineup, which includes Resident Evil Code: Veronica X and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. These titles will be available to play entirely for free through the subscription service. Players will also have access to Aero and Hover. However, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will only be available to play for free through the Xbox Live Gold service for a limited time.

This offer does extend to those who have subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service as well. The dates as to when these games will be available through the service listed below.

  • Aero: October 1 – October 31, 2021
  • Hover: October 16 – November 15, 2021
  • Castlevania: Harmony of Despair: October 1 – October 15, 2021
  • Resident Evil Code: Veronica X: October 16 – October 31, 2021

The versions of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair that will appear through this service will be the Xbox 360 versions of the game. And while games like Resident Evil Code: Veronica X will no longer be available to play for free once its period of availability passes, it will still be available to purchase.

Konami announced that a new Castlevania OST collection will release in December 2021. The soundtrack will feature a total of 26 volumes, divided into 13 discs. Additionally, pre-orders made through the Konami online store will receive a special CD containing MIDI arrangements of music from Castlevania: Dracula X.
