Xbox One will launch in China on September 23rd, and will come with free access to Xbox Live Gold through March 2015, Microsoft announced this morning. The system will be sold starting at ¥3,699 RMB.

In addition to the regular edition, the system will also get a special Day One edition, which includes the Kinect peripheral. Also included in this edition is a limited edition controller, a Day One achievement for Xbox Live, Kinect Sports Rivals, Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year, the Neverwinter Online Commemorative Edition Pack, and Powerstar Golf with in-game credit.

The special edition Day One Xbox One is being launched in partnership with BesTV, and will be available for ¥4,299 RMB while supplies last.

BesTV, an entertainment technology company, is a subsidiary of Shanghai Media Group, and will also be Microsoft’s partner for home entertainment in China. The BesTV collaboration will make movies, sports, documentaries and on-demand TV available via Xbox Live. Xbox owners in China will also get two free movies per month.

“We have made significant investments in China to deliver a tailored Xbox One experience for our fans,” said Enwei Xie, general manager of Xbox China.
