Xseed Games, are working on a mobile title for smartphones, as revealed by a job description on the publisher’s website. The job opening is for a “Mobile Online Game Operations Manager” and the description reads:

XSEED Games is looking for a Mobile Online Game Operations Manager to join our team. The Mobile Online Game Operations Manager would be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of a presently in-development mobile title, which would include managing a development team, planning for updates, executing events and campaigns and ensuring budget requirements are met. He/She would also handle marketing activities (such as KPI analysis), improvements to the existing service and the active implementation of planned events or campaigns. Experience in operating mobile games is required.

Under the “Key responsibilities” area, Xseed mention that the game will be for a smartphone, and that community management will be one of the responsibilities involved in the job. A high level of Japanese language proficiency is part of the preferred job requirements, so presumably, the game is of Japanese origin.

Well, that’s it, everyone. Trails in the Sky Second Chapter social game confirmed. Time to pack it up.
